I am in no way, a pro photographer or editor. I am a girl who loves her camera. I am a person who craves information and loves to learn new things. As I learn and grow in this hobby of mine I thought I would share my favorite picture each week.

So please be gentle with me.

The images I share may not be picture perfect, but they are a representation of my heart, of what my eyes see and of what makes me smile.

I am also linking up with Ann Voskamp at A Holy Experience. She is the author of One Thousand Gifts and she has put out the challenge to make our own list of gratitude for Gods gifts. So I will be adding my list to Photo Friday.

#1 – for comforting arms
#2 – grace that never ends
#3 – for the sweet smile of my young son
#4 – and for warm cuddles and sweet kisses before his head hits his pillow
#5 – for the ability to learn
#6 – and for the chance to put what we learn into practice
#7 – warm fuzzy slippers
#8 – and bright flowers on a winter day
#9 – for a kind Mama who drops off meals cause she know I don’t want to cook
#10 – full tummies
#11 – for dancing in our slippers around the kitchen
#12 – and for the ipod that kindly sings all day long
#13 – for the ability to pray to a loving God
#14 – honest and real emotions
#15 – a Hubby that calls just to say “I love you”

Maybe you would like to start your own list. Here is what Ann says:

And why bother keeping a gratitude list of His gifts?

Because those keeping a gratitude list:

1. Have a relative absence of stress and depression. (Woods et al., 2008)

2. Make progress towards important personal goals (Emmons and McCullough, 2003)

3. Report higher levels of determination and energy (Emmons and McCullough, 2003)

4. Feel closer in their relationships and desire to build stronger relationships (Algoe and Haidt, 2009)

5. Increase your happiness by 25%(Who wouldn’t want a quarter more happiness!) (McCullough et al., 2002)

Who doesn’t want all that?

Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” (1 Thess. 5:16–18).”
