We went to a cool goat cheese farm, it was a cute place. We saw some goats, tasted some cheese and then finished off with some goat cheese gelato. The gelato was the best I had ever tasted! We tried two flavors, salted caramel and wild berry.
Our next stop was Summerhill Pyramid Winery. It was beautiful and offered a breathtaking view of Lake Okanagan. It was not Grays favorite place. But hubby still got to enjoy a tour and sample some wine. Little man and I sat in air conditioning while singing “The wheels on the bus” at least a dozen times!
After a quick nap in the car, we were ready to move on to Davison orchards. What a wonderful place to spend an afternoon! Gray had fun, although there were even more activities for a child that is a bit older. Perfect for 3 and up. We visited with the animals, took a tour around the farm on a tractor, walked around the market and took home some delicious fresh pressed apple juice and a yummy pie! It was a lot of fun, Gray “vroomed” the entire time we were in the tractor wagon. It was cute!
We also snuck in an evening of blueberry picking. And one of the most exciting factors here is that there are NO mosquitoes! Its crazy, we were out picking berries at 7 and there was not a bug in sight, it was wonderful.
Our little helper was not very good at getting the berries into the bucket!
Hope you all had a relaxing weekend, here’s to a great week!
